Store spice blend in a glass or plastic container with a tight-fitting lid. How To Use It: Viennese Breakfast Biscuits Separate one (12-ounce) package refrigerated flaky biscuits into individual biscuits. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon spice blend on top and sides of biscuits; bake according to package directions. Quick-Fix Muffins Prepare one (7-ounce) box of bran muffins according to package directions. Stir 1-1/2 teaspoons of spice blend into batter. Pour into muffin cups; sprinkle 1-1/2 teaspoons of spice blend on top of muffins. Bake according to package directions. Spiced Streusel Topping Combine 3 tablespoons each all-purpose flour and quick oats with 2 tablespoons each of spice blend and water; stir with a fork until mixture is crumbly. Fill one (8-inch) prepared pie crust with one (21-ounce) can prepared fruit pie filling; sprinkle streusel topping over filling and bake. |
